The YMCA Camp Potawotami is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual interested in serving as our Climbing Program Coordinator.
Reporting to the Program Director, their primary responsibility in the summer will be to work with the program director to assist with staff training for Summer Camp and serve as the main facilitator leading the climbing tower, high ropes, giant swing, zip-line, low ropes and summer campers along with other camp programs. In the spring and fall, they will primarily serve as one of the lead staff members by assisting in coordinating retreat groups and being the onsite contact for select retreat groups, working with our school groups as an instructor and being the one leading classes and activities like climbing, high ropes teambuilding, and low ropes.
This position provides a quality experience to children and adults, embodying our YMCA culture, mission, cause and core values.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Pay: $335 per week plus room and board, including laundry services and internet access.
Dates: April - October 2019 (flexible start date)
Must be available to work evenings and weekends; also must live on site.
