The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking a part-time Middle School After School Program Counselor that is enthusiastic, organized, and compassionate with a strong desire to positively impact the lives of youth in 6th-8th grade.
Under the supervision of the Youth and Family Program Director, the Program Counselor will help plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for an assigned group of youth and be responsible for their care.
They will also help develop friendly and positive relationships among staff, volunteers, parents, and promote a healthy, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical environment of each child.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Starting pay range: $8.50 to $9.75 depending on experience
Hours Available: at the Jorgensen Family YMCA, 10313 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804
Monday through Friday
2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Must be able to work full shift every day
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation to attend work.
Able to fulfill all demands in spirit, mind, and body as a program counselor for middle school students.
