The YMCA Camp Potawotami is seeking a part-time Kitchen Cooks that are organized, attentive, and compassionate with a strong desire to positively serve young children.
Under the supervision of the Food Services Director, the Kitchen Cook will oversee the timely preparation and quality service of meals to campers and staff in the program.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Starting pay range: $9 depending on experience
Hours Available at the YMCA Camp Potawotami, 7255 E 700 S Wolcottville, IN 46795:
Breakfast cook works from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Dinner cook works from 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Must be able to work on weekends
August through mid-October
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation to attend work.
Experience working with food service preferred but not required.
Organized, attentive, consistent.
Competent in reading and speaking English, able to take directions and easily work with others.
Able to endure non-air conditioned kitchen, hot working conditions.
Able to fulfill all demands in spirit, mind, and body as a kitchen cook for the camp.
Positive, service-oriented attitude serving diverse groups of people in regard to age, abilities, ethnicity, gender, race, economic status, religion, etc.
Team player willing to contribute to the culture, mission, and values of the YMCA
