The Whitley County Family YMCA is seeking an outgoing part-time Member Child Watch Giver that loves to play and care for children.
The Child Watch Program is a facility-based program available to YMCA members with a Single Parent or Family membership enabling them to drop off their children, for up to 2 hours while they are in the facility.
Child Watch Caregivers supervise and engage the infants and young children in fun and age-appropriate activities to make their experience at the YMCA an enjoyable one.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Pay range: $8.25 to $9 depending on experience
Shifts Available at the Whitley County Family 950 East Van Buren Street, Columbia City, IN 46725:
3:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday
Rotate Weekend Shifts
Flexible schedule required
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Experience in the supervision of multiple children.
High levels of patience and enthusiasm.
Ability to handle situations quickly and fairly.
Able to fulfill all demands in spirit, mind, and body as a child watch caregiver.
Reliable transportation to attend work.
Team player, a positive, service-oriented attitude with diverse groups of people in regard to age, abilities, ethnicity, gender, race, economic status, religion, etc.

Free individual membership at all YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne facilities (Allen, Whitley, Wells counties); part-time staff have the opportunity for a small cost to add additional eligible members.
