JOB SUMMARY
The Parkview Family YMCA is seeking Sports Referees to join our team. Under the direction of the Sports Director, the Sports Referee is responsible for enforcing the rules, ensuring games start on time, and providing a safe and positive environment for participants.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Pay range: $8.50 - $10/hr depending on experience.
Hours Available: Saturdays, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, at the Parkview Family YMCA 10001 Dawsons Creek Blvd, FW IN 46825
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 16 years of age
Preferred knowledge of sports and refereeing, training can be provided
Reliable transportation to attend work
Ability to solve conflicts or issues that may arise
Able to fulfill all demands and skills in spirit, mind and body as a basketball referee according to YMCA standards.
Must possess maturity/sound judgment and strong sense of responsibility
Welcoming and inclusive to our diverse membership
Must be able to set up/take down equipment
Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
